Crimes are of two types
1} Cognizable Offense
Arrests can be made without an arrest warrant in cases where an FIR is filed and the police conduct further investigations and action
2} Non Cognizable Offence (General Crime )
N. C.R. A complaint is lodged in the NCR and a warrant has to be issued for arrest in these offenses
If you are arrested for any crime, you have to get bail first

If the evidence is submitted along with your application, the court will start hearing on it and if your evidence is strong, the FIR will be canceled or the order will be quashed.
0 Appeal to the Hon. Supreme Court against the Hon. High Court
You, Hon. If you are not satisfied with the decision of the High Court or if the Hon'ble High Court has ruled against you, you can file an appeal in the Supreme Court.
0 Police action stops
Police cannot make arrests or inquiries while your petition is being heard
0 Judgment
The Hon'ble Court's decision is in your favor
0 Criminal Procedure code1973 (sec-250)
You can claim damages under Section 250 of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973 or
0 Indian Penal Code 1860 (Sec 211 & 500)
You can file an offense under Sections 211 and 500 of the Indian Penal Code
0 Indian Penal Code 1860 (Sec 177)
You can file a case under Section 177 of the Indian Penal Code for knowingly giving false information to a government servant.
0 Indian Penal Code 1860 (Sec 218)
Pursuant to Section 218 of the Indian Penal Code
You can file a case if a police officer has deliberately created a false record about you.
0 Indian Penal Code 1860 (Sec 220)
Under Section 220 of the Indian Penal Code, if a public servant is imprisoned for corrupt reasons out of revenge or for any other reason.
